I was actually having issues with the desired hex color not showing up and the ugly red color showing up every time instead. For some reason the game makes the colors much brighter than they are. You need to darken your colors a lot to make them appear right in the game. I think I have done it right cause my crew color is transparent on social club but yet in game it is always the bright red color.
